I have changed the battery to see if that was it and no change, plus my original battery works fine in the other phone and charges ok so i know its not that. Running an older version of iOS might cause several issues on your iPhone. I also let it ran dead and connected to the computer but again it turns itself back on and will not be recognised by my computer. Your iPhone could be not charging for a variety of reasons. I have changed the docking connection to a brand new one and its charged up fine the first time i turnt it back on but since will only charge when completely dead and it will not charge if i simply turn it off as it just turns itself back on and stops charging. Let your device charge for another half hour. Ive tried switching the battery with a properly working GN phone - my device sees a different charge level than the working phone. My iphone 4 will no longer charge unless its completly flat.
